It is my honour and pleasure to introduce You to the Westpomeranian Region. I cordially invite You to visit our region and enjoy recreation and fun. Nowhere else will You be able to take advantage of such a great variety of tourist attractions, exploiting the possibilities for active recreation whether on the Baltic coast or in the five picturesque lake districts. Forests account for some forty percent of the region. I encourage You to see the beauty of the wild national parks, interspersed with meandering rivers and lakes of pristine purity.
Our greatest asset is being situated at the heart of Europe, at the natural crossing point of routes between Scandinavia and Southern Europe and between Western Europe and the Baltic countries.
Everything is near: Berlin, Copenhagen and Stockholm! We are a region where borders unite rather than divide. We have nearly 185 km of sea frontier to the north and nearly 185 km of border with Germany to the west, a border which thanks to Poland’s joining the EU is easier to cross.
